Her DRA/Core Restore class is a program she wishes every woman would take at least once, whether you have an abdominal separation or not. It teaches you how to align your body, coordinate your breathing, and build your core strength quite literally from the ground up with a strong focus on deep abdominal and pelvic floor strengthening.  The things you learn in this class you will use every day….for the rest of your life.

Many women feel untethered after the birth of a baby (physically and mentally) and this lack of feeling centered or in control of your mid-section can trickle into other areas of your life, leaving you feeling unsettled.  You’ll be amazed at how gaining control of your core will allow other things to fall into place!

 I'm unsure if my form will be seen in a virtual class?

Carrie was worried about the same thing but after teaching 5 separate sessions in a virtual setting, she is amazed at how much she can see when on an eye-level view and seeing each of you on the screen.  In fact, she can probably correct your form even better this way plus the screen acts like a mirror to give you your own visual feedback about your form!

I actually like the virtual classes more! Like working out in front of a mirror- I can check in on my posture and make tweaks I wouldn’t normally feel if we were in the classroom. Carrie is just as attentive virtually as a live classroom setting- if not more so as she can scan everyone on a level plane.

Hi! I’m Carrie, Women’s Health Physical Therapist and mother of three. When I was pregnant with my first child many moons ago, I searched far and wide for an exercise class that would strengthen my body, teach me tips to make labor easier, and help me connect with other moms. No luck.

After each of my births I longed for someone to take me by the hand and gently guide me through strengthening my body safely. I was too tired to take this on myself. Hello? Anyone out there?

And then when I discovered I had an abdominal separation I was fearful I wouldn’t be able to do the exercises I enjoyed ever again. False! 

I used my expertise as a Women’s Health Physical Therapist and learned from the best of the best to design these programs according to my own “wish list”….they are the very programs I was desperately searching for as a pregnant and postpartum woman.
