The Postnatal Pilates class is designed to help your body recover from the birth of your baby, whether you are 6 weeks postpartum or 1 year postpartum by helping you safely awaken your deep abdominals and pelvic floor. Each class is a combination of education and exercise, and it is Carrie's goal to strengthen your body from the inside in order to prevent common postpartum injuries and get you back to your pre-pregnancy fitness level (or better)!
Each week you will receive a lecture video in which you will learn things like What is Your Core, How to Care For a Baby Without Spraining Your Spine, Let's Talk About Sex (after) Baby, Return of Menses and Birth Control Options, and Eating Healthy on the GO!
You will also receive a separate video each week that will contain expertly designed Pilates exercises that will increase in difficulty each week to challenge your core to a greater extent. By the end of the program, you will be ready to safely transition to a community-based Pilates class or resume your favorite exercise programs.
Each class will end with a hand-picked meditation for this stage of your motherhood to help calm your anxieties
These videos can be completed on your own time frame and never expire so watch them as often as you want or throughout multiple postpartum periods!
